Surah Al-Mulk Tafseer Course

Certification provided upon completion

Surah Al-Mulk is a chapter that protects, transforms, and awakens the soul.

In this adult tafsir course, we journey verse-by-verse into its profound messages-discovering how Allah teaches us reliance, accountability, humility, and the true meaning of life and death.

In time to prepare you for Ramadan, this course will help you reconnect with your purpose, strengthen your Iman, and experience the Qur'an as a living guide that speaks to your heart.

The course is offered both virtually and in person at Noon Academy.

Instructed by Shaikh Waleed Almakee, the student and Muqadim of  
the Muhadith of Al-Haramain, Imam Al-sayid Muhammad Ibn Alawi Almaliky Alhasani. Shaikh Waleed received his Islamic Ijazahs and Sanads through his Shaikh to the Imams of Hijazi school the scholars of Al-Haramain.

Noon Academy is a full-time elementary and Secondary school located in Brampton, Ontario. In addition to being an Islamic school, Noon Academy is also a masjid and a welcoming community center with educational services for adults, intensive youth courses, and weekly religious studies programs with children, all designed to educate and stimulate minds with ideas grounded in Islamic scholarly traditions. We hold social events and religious celebrations to bring the community together.

Noon Academy offers a variety of Masjid services including weekly Jumu’ah Khutbah and prayers, nikah services and marriage counseling, adult courses; such as tafsir and tajwid, and intensive youth courses that allow participants to practice spirituality that channels Islamic principles and Prophetic wisdom.

Masjid & Community

 

Masjid

Our masjid is open to all members of our community. In addition to providing Jumu`ah services, we also live stream the khutbahs on our YouTube channel. Noon Academy is a space where everyone is welcomed, Qur`anic teachings are learned, and spiritual uplifting lectures are heard.

 

Saturday Islamic School

To ensure the safety and well-being of all participants we have temporarily transitioned our long standing Saturday School program to an online learning platform. Students still receive quality instruction in Islamic and Qur`anic Studies delivered by Shaikh Waleed Almakee and his Saturday School team of qualified and experienced teachers.

 

Adult Courses

Noon Academy offers a variety of intensive courses especially designed for busy adults. Group discussion and interactions make these courses suitable to all – regardless of prior knowledge. New courses are continually introduced and are created based on the greatest needs and suggestions from the participants.

 

Youth Courses

High School students and up to age 25 are provided with a unique program that combines an intensive and thorough study of a variety of scholarly material with student-initiated activities (nature hikes, sporting events, games etc.) with an aim to promote leadership and lasting friendships.

 

Young Adults Virtual Halaqah

A weekly virtual course that provides students with an in-depth study of the Qur`an based-on Ibn Kathir’s tafsir. Through this interactive course Shaykh Waleed Almakee connects his students with the words of Allah, to better equip them with essential knowledge and understandings that are needed as they grow into the society around them.
